2. FPV Flying Characteristics of Drones for Beginners
You can have the most durable flying fpv drone racer designed for beginners that can withstand any crash, but if it flies like a brick, then the experience will be terrible. Open the ETMax cardboard box, charge your lipo batteries bind this up to your FrSky or Spectrum Radio and go fly. The Factory Tune of BetaFlight is nearly perfect for beginners of FPV flying. There is no BetaFlight PID tuning required. The Custom Grayson harness plugs allows for a solder-free solution. If you choose to set this up yourself, Grayson Hobby offers a FrSky and Spectrum Solderless Solution just plug in your receiver and Bing. Soldering and PID tuning is the biggest obstacle for beginners and experts alike in the FPV Drone Hobby, but the ETMax does not require any PID Tuning or Soldering!
4. Drone Repairs and Upgrades for the NoobThe ET Max uses ‘traditional’ FPV gear sized components and electronics. Nothing is proprietary. There are lots of other manufacturers of FPV drones on the market geared towards beginners, however, every part is proprietary. Meaning that repairing or replacing damaged components is extremely difficult.
